What is ALERT?

The ALERT (Aspects of Law and Ethics Related to Technology) research group (Middlesex University, London, United Kingdom) focuses on theoretical and applied research into the mutual effects of law and ethics on technology. This therefore includes:

• Research on legal and ethical issues of concern regarding the use of technologies such as the Internet, E-Learning systems, and various Information Systems.
  
  
• Research on how technology impacts on law and ethics.
