Bullet Point Research
SME Project
This project investigates the feasibility of developing a novel working prototype solution that demonstrates garment tracking based on RFID or other technology, and including transfer and storage of information in an on-line database accessible via the web from both PC and Mac computers.

MUSKET Project - Middlesex University Skills and Education Planning Tool
The project aims to support employer engagement and workforce planning requirements by providing a CRM based integrated view of employer based, professional and tertiary sector education.

Bookmarkstore Project
Development of a configurable social bookmarking component that could easily be incorporated into any website irrespective of the motivation for developing the website.

The notion of bookmarking websites or adding them to a favourites list within a web browser is second nature for most web users. Although this facility is indispensable given the large number of websites that people access, the concept is limited as the bookmarks are stored locally on the users computer, are subject to loss in the event of a computer failure and will not be available if accessing the internet from another computer such as one in an internet cafe or some other such location. In order to overcome these limitations a number of websites have developed facilities that allow users to store their bookmarks on them and such facilities are offered by both Yahoo and Google amongst others.

These facilities overcome the issues outlined with a local repository and also usually offer additional features such as the ability to add personal notes to the bookmark, something not available as a standard feature on the most common web browsers. Social bookmarking is a development of this web based bookmark storing concept taken to another level. Social bookmark sites offer the ability to store bookmarks on a website but also either encourage or insist on users sharing their bookmarks with other users of the site. The underlying notion here is that a consensus will form within the community of users about which websites are valuable, in some sense, based on the number of times or frequency they are bookmarked by individual contributors to the website.
