Advancement
of the Information and Communication
Technologies enables the integration
of technology with daily activities
and education is not an exception.
E-learning which applies the
concept of open and distance
learning, in simple definition
is a concept of learning through
the Internet. It had been reviewed
as an efficient knowledge transfer
mechanism. E-learning is seen
as a future application worldwide
as it promotes life long learning
by enabling learners to learn
anytime, anywhere and at one
owns pace. My work focuses on
developing and evaluating learning
communities and attempts to
address issues such as content
delivery, Computer Assisted
Assessment, and feedback. A
proposed framework for evaluating
online assessment techniques
is particularly interesting.
According to peer review comments
to date, very little of the
research in this area of learning
has focused on such a topic.
Especially the comparison of
online assessment results against
to more traditional methods
to demonstrate the relative
effectiveness of such an approach.
