Welcome to my homepage, my node of communication in the World Wide Web. I am George, just another Greek on an adventurous Odyssey. On September 1994, during the trip in search of my Ithaca, I arrived in England where I have lived ever since.

I am currently a Lecturer (Business Information Systems Group) in School of Computing Science, at Middlesex University and an Honorary Visiting Lecturer (Interactive Systems Design Section) in School of Informatics,at The University of Manchester. Since September 2004, I serve the School of Computing Science as a Curriculum Leader Pedagogy for Global Campus. I am also a member of the Centre of Expertise in e-Commerce and the Global Campus programme for distance learning.

I studied in Department of Computation, at UMIST which now belongs to the past after merging with The Victoria University of Manchester in October 2004. I was previously employed by the department in various capacities and have been a Research Associate for the BT Technology Directorate, BT Laboratories.

In these pages I have gathered some evidence of my academic and professional existence. Hopefully you will find this web site informative about several activities regarding research, teaching, industrial collaboration and academic administration. I am looking forward for any questions and suggestions that you may have.

We can easily forgive a child who is afraid of the dark. The real tragedy of life is when men are afraid of the light.
