From September 1994 to January 2004 I studied and worked in the Department of Computation at UMIST. I was awarded a BSc (Hons) in Computation (1997), an MPhil in Computation (1999), a PhD in Computation (2004) and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Academic Practice (2004). During these years, my 'magnum-opus' consisted of the following:

Report: Development of a mapping and code-generation tool for ERT-SQL
Thesis: Dynamic Role Allocation in Software Engineering
Thesis: An Investigation into the Allocation of Electronic Contracts to Dynamically Formed Global Software Engineering Teams
Portfolio: Academic Practice

I was a Research Associate for British Telecom (97-00), a member of the Centre of Expertise in e-Commerce (98-present), a Teaching Assistant (98-01) and a Teaching Fellow/Honorary Lecturer (01-04) in the Department of Computation, UMIST.

In life it's not a matter of how much you know, what's important is how little you allow yourself to forget.
