Author Guidelines:
Prospective
authors are invited to submit
papers in any of the topics
listed above. Papers must not
be published or under consideration
to be published elsewhere. All
papers must be written in English
and the maximum length should
be no more than 5,000 words
and should not exceed 8 pages.
Paper formatting should follow
the IEEE standards available
here.
Papers selected for presentation
will appear in the Conference
Proceedings, which are published
by IEEE Computer Society. Papers
only in either MS Word or PDF
format should be sent to the
workshop organiser electronically
by Monday, August 30 2004 (17:00,
BST) at g.dafoulas@mdx.ac.uk
Please
note that all conference rooms
will be equipped with:
- a Windows-based
PC with a floppy drive and
a CD drive plus a data projector
for Power Point presentations
- an overhead
projector for transparencies
Please
make sure that the size of the
letters on your .ppt slides (or
on transparencies) is large enough
for clear presentation. Also,
use graphics, diagrams, and figures
to make your presentation clearer.
The presentation time allocated
for each paper is 15 minutes with
an additional 5 minutes for Q&A.
The
session Chairs are responsible
for:
- Ensuring
that the presentation equipment
is ready at the time of the
session
- Ensuring
that presentations run exactly
in the order provided in the
conference program
- Introducing
speakers
- Controlling
time
