St Lucia is a very beautiful island in the Caribbean, size 238 square miles, population approximately 150,000. We boast one of the world's most unspoiled paradise islands, the unique Pitons and having the most Nobel Laureates per population anywhere on earth. Sir Arthur Lewis won the Nobel Prize for Economics in 1979 and Derek Walcott won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1992.
