There are a number of ways that
you can study with us at the IDC, by:
- PhD
This is a 3 year full-time or 5 year part-time degree where
students often work as part of a team with faculty members
on projects that are related to the research themes of
the
IDC.
- MSc by Research
This is a 1 year full-time degree where students often work
as part of a team on research projects with faculty members
on projects that
are related to the research themes at the IDC. This degree
also includes a tailored learning programme to develop
basic research skills.
- MSc in Interaction Design
This
is a coursework-based programme jointly taught by staff
in the IDC and Product Design and Engineering.
- BSc Honours dissertation projects
Students in their final year of undergraduate study are usually
expected to carry out small pieces of research as part
of their dissertation. Students are expected to work as
part of team on research projects with faculty members
on projects that are related to the research themes of
the IDC.
