Kicks Off!" - IDC is part of a ten-partner European consortium
set up to develop the AD4 Virtual Airspace Management System.
The project will develop a system for enhancing air traffic handling
capacity while preserving safety. January

Buchanan who completed his PhD entitled "Integrating
Information Seeking and Information Structuring" in December
2004.

Computing Science. His talk was entitled: IF it is HCI; THEN

was one of four panel members exchanging experiences and advice

EPSRC grant awarded to Paul Curzon of the Interaction Design Centre
- Paul
Curzon of IDC has recently been awarded a £222K EPSRC grant
(GR/S67500/01) to study the formal verification and empirical
validation of interactive systems with a focus on human error.
