We explore the development of a physical interface and hardware based
an interactive Genetic Algorithm (iGA) as a tool for research and
consider how it may be used and further developed to facilitate better
interaction with and understanding of IGAs in practice.  The talk will
consist of:
       
        Overview of GA and iGAs; application areas, common features and 
	"enhancements"

        Demonstration of Eugene
	
        Discussion of features, parameters and enhancements to
        facilitate better research opportunities based on observations
        of users and effectiveness of this interface
