A Mathematical Approach to Ontology Evolution Ontology evolution is simply keeping up with updating an ontology in real-time. In addressing these issues, researchers have two different viewpoints. The first group, try to tackle the problem by coming up with guidelines, and believe following these guidelines will help solving the problem. The second group have tried to implement various techniques while following those guidelines. Sadly, due to a long list of shortcomings, an automatic ontology evolution methodology still does not exist. I believe a graph theoretic approach is able to overcome these shortcomings and contribute to solving this problem. In this talk, I will discuss this new approach. by Artemis Parvizi
